We are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our Ingleburn Processing operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving secure, efficient and high-quality production outcomes while leading teams and continuously improving plant performance in a fast-paced processing environment.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Lead day-to-day fish processing operations to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality production outcomes
n
- Develop, coach and support production teams to build capability, accountability and performance
n
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet operational demand and customer requirements
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS, HACCP, GMP and food safety standards across all processing activities
n
- Monitor product quality, yield and throughput to ensure operational targets are achieved
n
- Work closely with Operational Excellence and Maintenance teams to improve line performance and reduce downtime
n
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction and cost control
n
- Monitor production KPIs and operational performance, providing clear reporting and recommendations
n
- Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics and QA teams to support smooth operational flow
n
- Maintain accurate production, quality and inventory records for compliance and audit purposes
n
- Support proactive maintenance planning to minimise production disruptions and maximise equipment reliability
n
- Foster a strong safety-first culture focused on teamwork, accountability and operational excellence
n

About you

You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing or food production environments. You enjoy leading teams, solving problems and driving continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and performance.

Here's what you'll bring...

- Experience in production management within FMCG, manufacturing or food processing environments
n
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and develop diverse operational teams
n
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality compliance standards
n
- Experience managing production schedules, labour planning and operational performance
n
- Strong understanding of operational efficiency, process optimisation and continuous improvement principles
n
- Ability to analyse production data, monitor KPIs and drive performance outcomes
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across operational teams
n
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving capability
n
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing operational priorities
n
- Qualifications in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Fisheries or related disciplines will be highly regarded
n
