CPB Contractors is seeking a Construction Director to lead the on-site delivery of a major data centre project supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth.

The Role

n

As Construction Director, you will lead the end-to-end construction phase of a hyperscale data centre, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery on site.

- Lead all on-site construction activities, driving delivery across time, cost, quality and safety targets
n
- Oversee construction teams, subcontractors and trade partners, ensuring alignment and performance
n
- Drive site productivity, sequencing and programme adherence across multiple work packages
n
- Ensure protected execution, embedding a strong safety culture across all site operations
n




- Manage interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP services during construction
n
- Collaborate closely with design, commercial and commissioning teams to enable seamless delivery
n
- Oversee construction through to testing, commissioning and practical completion
n
- Build, mentor and lead high-performing site teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
n

About You

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction or related discipline
n
- Proven experience delivering data centres, building services or large-scale building projects (eg hospitals, airports)
n
- Strong understanding of construction delivery in MEP-intensive environments
n
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-package site operations
n
- Commercially astute, with experience working alongside project commercial teams
n
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive performance on site
n
