Business Development Manager (SA, NT & NZ)
Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team, servicing South Australia, the Northern Territory and New Zealand. Note that the position is based in Adelaide and NT & NZ are predominantly serviced remotely with minimal travel required.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the purpose of this role is to achieve commercial KPI’s within the specified territory through expanding our client base and increasing product usage.The key channels within the territory are Hospitals, Residential Aged Care and Pharmacy.
This is an exciting role and would suit a highly motivated individual with exceptional people and sales skills, driven by a desire to improve the lives of others.
About you
The successful candidate needs to be a natural at building strong relationships, enthusiastic, thrive on finding new business and understand the importance of finding solutions for our clients.
To be considered for the role you would need to demonstrate the following:
A minimum of 3 years proven sales and business development experience selling clinical consumables, pharmacy goods or OTC products into hospitals, aged care, pharmacy, or allied-health markets.
Results driven, and consistently meeting targets.
Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Great time management, planning, organising and negotiation skills.
A team player that is self-motivated.
The experience and confidence to engage at a senior level.
The ability to operate at fast pace and adapt to changing market conditions and new competitors.
A robust attention to detail and a desire to succeed.
A valuable working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
A willingness to undertake overnight regional travel at times approximately 10 nights per year
Clinical experience (dietetics / speech pathology / nursing / other)
is desirable but we are open to any health professional that is looking for a change and may be interested in developing a career in sales.
