About the role:

n

We're looking for casual Food Service Assistants to work across our Northern Health network, including Northern Hospital (Epping), Broadmeadows Hospital (Jacana) and Bundoora Centre (Bundoora).

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Food Service Assistants:

n

n
- Ability to travel between Northern health sites Northern, Broadmeadows and Bundoora for shifts
n
- Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
n
- Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
n
- Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
n
- Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
n

About you

n

n
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
n
- Previous experience in a hospital or aged care environment is desired
n
- Current Food Safety Certificate is required
n
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays
n
- Ability to travel between three sites
n
- Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
- DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain, is essential
n
- Evidence of immunisation for current influenza is essential
n
