Casual Early Childhood Educators | Craigieburn & Reservoir

Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centre & Pre School – Craigieburn VIC

n

We are looking for committed, bubbly and capable, casual Educators for our Craigieburn & Reservoir centres. To be successful in this role you will hold an early childhood qualification and will have flexible availability between Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:30pm as shifts are required.

The Whiz Kidz group are family owned and operated childcare centres in NSW and VIC.Our owners are two sisters, both with young children, who have a passion for quality childcare and early education. Having sent all their young children to childcare, we understand what it means to be able to send your child to a centre each morning and walk away with the peace of mind that your child is being cared for in a loving and nurturing environment. A few key responsibilities of the role include:

n

- Develop open communication channels with staff, children, and families of the centre.
n
- Comply with the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
n
- Assisting children with their daily routines & support them in their learning.
n
- Working in partnership with a team of Educators who provide high quality early childhood education and care.
n




- Casual opportunities may lead to securing a permanent position based on performance and team fit.

The successful candidates will require:

n

n
- A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
n
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader
n
- Robust knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and child development
n
- A positive, cooperative leadership style with the ability to mentor and inspire others
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Protection training and Working With Children Check
n
- A current National Foundations Child Safety Training certificate
n
