Job Description
Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Industrial Automation
n
UNI-RAY AUSTRALIA provides intelligent warehouse solutions across Australia, specialising in:
n
AMR deployment and commissioning
n
On-site robot maintenance
n
Warehouse automation support
n
Heavy-duty racking installation
n
Preventive maintenance and technical services
n
Working together with UNI-RAY Beijing, our team supports global AMR projects while delivering local Australian service capabilit.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Install, commission and maintain AMR equipment at customer sites.
n
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled servicing.
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and communication faults.
n
Support software updates, robot commissioning and system optimisation.
n
Monitor robot fleet performance and recommend improvements.
n
Liaise directly with customers regarding maintenance activities and technical issues.
n
Maintain service reports, maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
n
Provide emergency breakdown support and participate in on-call rotation where required.
n
Work closely with engineering teams in Australia and overseas to resolve technical issues.
n
Certificate III, Diploma or Degree in:
n
Mechatronics
n
Electrical Engineering
n
Mechanical Engineering
n
Automation
n
Robotics
n
Ability to read electrical drawings and mechanical drawings.
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
n
Good communication and Teamwork skills.
n
Second Language, Chinese prefer
n
Current Australian Driver Licence.
n
Ability to travel throughout Australia.
n
