Senior Site Boilermaker / Steel Installer / Steel Rigger

Studio Steel is a CC2 certified manufacturing and construction business on a huge growth trajectory. Due to our reputation of delivering quality work, safely and on-time we have a huge pipeline of won work to deliver for large builders from the Northern NSW to Central Queensland and we need additional capacity from talented Site Boilermakers / Steel Riggers to join our team. Please note - Applicants MUST have full Australian working rights and be living in Australia.

The key duties for these factory-based roles include:

n

- Experience leading a team of onsite Boilermakers and Riggers
n
- Experience with structural steel installations on construction sites
n
- Ability to read and interpret drawings is critical
n
- Solid understanding of protected on-site work practices
n




- Ability to operate EWP's and/or Cranes to install and rig steel
n
- Excellent communication skills to talk with other team members, clients, builders, engineers and other trades etc.
n

The following competencies are required

n
- Safety focused - this is a non-negotiable
n
- Ability to perform all the above key duties and have exceptionally high attention to detail - our game is one of millimeters
n
- Experience working on construction sites
n
- Must have a Riggers ticket to erect steel onsite
n

This role will be based on work sites around SEQ with some travel to sites in Central Queensland from time to time.
