Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor

As a Rehabilitation Counsellor – Occupational Rehabilitation with Back2Work Solutions you will play a vital role in supporting individuals through their recovery and rehabilitation journey. This full time position is based in our Brisbane, QLD office but may also involve some remote or flexible work arrangements.

What you'll be doing

n

Conduct comprehensive psychological, psychosocial and vocational assessments to identify clients' strengths, limitations and rehabilitation needs

n

Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans to assist clients in achieving their personal, social and vocational goals

n

Provide evidence-based interventions, including counselling, cognitive-behavioural therapy and other therapeutic techniques (within scope of practice)

n

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and deliver client-centred rehabilitation services

n

Liaise with stakeholders, such as employers, insurers and healthcare providers, to facilitate successful return to work outcomes

n

Maintain detailed client records and prepare progress reports in accordance with professional and organisational standards

n

What we're looking for

n

Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology

n

Registration with AHPRA or ASORC

n

Experience in occupational rehabilitation,



vocational counselling or a related field.

n

Demonstrated skills in assessment, case formulation and the delivery of evidence-based interventions

n

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders

n

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a complex caseload

n

Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to support client care and record-keeping

n
