THE WORK
n This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad mix of high-quality corporate matters from day one.
n
You will work closely with leading corporate partners advising Australian and international clients on:
n
n
- Private mergers and acquisitions
n
- Joint ventures
n
- Asset and company acquisitions and disposals
n
- Capital raisings for listed and unlisted companies
n
- Corporate governance and compliance
n
- Corporate and commercial transactions
n
- Due diligence and transaction management
n
- Commercial agreements
n
- Energy & Resources transactions
n
n
You'll also have the prospect to work directly with clients, assist with strategic commercial advice,
participate in complex transactions from inception through to completion, and continue building your technical expertise in a supportive team environment.
n
THE IDEAL LAWYER
n To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
- 2-3 years' post-admission experience in Corporate law
n
- Experience across private M&A;, joint ventures, asset and company acquisitions and disposals, capital raisings and corporate governance
n
- A sound understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and general corporate compliance
n
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
n
- A collaborative approach and genuine desire to continue learning from experienced practitioners
n
- Energy & Resources experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential
n
