Our client is a manufacturer of electrical hardware products servicing the builders and distributers from their warehouse in Campbellfield. We currently have a delivery driver position for immediate start.

You'll be responsible for the daily delivery of customer orders across Melbourne CBD, following a pre-planned route built by the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator each morning.

This isn't just a drop-and-go role. You're representing your employer at the customer's door - so professionalism and care matter.

Key tasks include:

n

n
- Completing daily Melbourne CBD delivery runs using a pre-planned route on a 4.5T auto delivery truck std car license.
n
- Loading and securing orders in the truck prior to departure
n
- Delivering products safely and on time
n
- Capturing proof of delivery (photo/signature) for every drop
n
- Communicating in real time with the warehouse team on any issues - no one home,



access problems, damaged goods
n
- Occasionally collecting stock from suppliers when orders fall below free delivery thresholds
n
- Keeping the truck clean, roadworthy, and reported for any maintenance needs
n
- Returning undelivered items to the warehouse with clear notes for the team
n

About you

n

n
- Valid full Australian driver's license (car) - essential
n
- at least 2 yrs + Experience driving a van or light commercial vehicle (LCV) with a good knowledge of Melbourne CBD
n
- Physically fit
n
- Reliable own transport, punctual, and self-managed - you operate largely independently once on the road
n
- Comfortable with paperwork for proof of delivery.
n
- Forklift license (LF) and white card - desirable but not essential
n
