An exciting opportunityisnow open for a Truck Driver /Trades Assistant to join our Mackay team performing a variety of duties including deliveries and pickups, along with carrying out workshop/stores duties when required. The ideal candidate will be a safety consciousHeavy Ridged (HR) Truck Driverwith a willingness to carrying out manual tasks in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Safe operation of HR Truck.
n
- Perform routine Inspections of Truck and Trailer.
n
- Maintain a customer centric courteous attitude.
n
- General labouring.
n
- Carry out manual tasks in a workshop environment.
n
- Assist stores staff when required.
n

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- HR Truck Licence (essential).
n
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and chain of responsibility obligations.
n
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work setting.
n
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently without supervision.
n
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
n
- Team player.
n
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol pre-employment medical.
