We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our clinical team today.

Position Description

n

n
- Assessment and care planning.
n
- Resident case conferences and family consultations.
n
- Monthly care statements.
n
- Administration of medications.
n
- Monitoring of resident deterioration and escalation pathways.
n
- Oversight of assistant nursing team, including leadership and delegation.
n
- Doctor's and Nurse Practitioner rounds.
n
- Completion of mandatory training and education.
n
- Attendance and contribution to staff meetings.
n
- Adherence to facility policies and process, Strengthened Aged Care Standards and the Act Care Act.
n

Available Days/Hours

AM (0630-1445) - Fri to Tue

n

Skills and Experience Required

n

n
- Current Practicing Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
n
- Must have current Police Check (Nationally recognised check).
n
- Experience in aged care essential.
n
- Knowledge of regulations and AN-ACC funding highly regarded.
n
- Passion for delivering quality care.
n

How are our RNs supported?

n

Clinical management team includes DON, Clinical Managers, Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Educator.

n





Onsite pharmacist 3 days per week to support registered staff, conduct resident medication reviews, consult with GPs about medications and speak with residents and families about medications.

n

Onsite physiotherapist, occupational therapist and physio assistant as part of the allied health team - these staff are employees (not contractors).

n

Strong GP relationships with Your Family Practice in Lakewood.

n

Nurse Practitioner to support RNs and GPs.

n

Experienced FM provides operational support, including workforce management, system governance and IT/information management.

n

AINs are led by an experienced AIN Team Leader.

n

Lakeside uses digital systems for resident data management including care planning and assessments, incident reporting, medication management and S8 drug registers.
