About the Role: Relocate to sunny Mackay for a Clinical Educator/Trainer opportunity at a reputable and supportive aged care organisation. You will lead the clinical education and foster a culture of continuous learning. In this key leadership role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate innovative training programs that ensure our team provides evidence-based, world-class care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- To facilitate and develop educational programs, materials and opportunities for staff working at the organisation
n
- Engage in the development of educational programs
n
- Review educational content available on all learning platforms for suitability (e.g. Ausmed, Alis, ACIPC, Hand Hygiene Australia)
n
- Facilitate and respond to identified education needs
n
- In collaboration with Senior Clinical and General Managers, promote standards of care and services including nursing and clinical care, ensuring clinical practice is maintained according to current evidence-based practice, Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
n
- Contribute collaboratively to the strategic education plan.
n
- Coordinate orientation and mandatory training requirements for all staff
n
- Maintain accurate employee training records
n




- Promote the philosophy of learning and a vibrant education culture within the organisation
n

Key Requirements:

n

n
- Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
n
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
n
- Recent Clinical experience in Aged Care
n
- Strong interpersonal skills
n
- Collaborative and team skills
n
- Ability to work independently
n
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and competency-based assessment
n

n
- Evidence of Flu and Covid-19 vaccination
n
- Police Check or NDIS Clearance
