About the role
n
We are looking for a hands‐on, physically fit (lifting capability>25kgs) experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team.
n
Role & Responsibilities:
n
n
- Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste
n
- Multi stop collections across Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast
n
- Practice safe and correct manual handling
n
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations
n
- Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard
n
- Confirm all service dockets are signed, photos taken and you correctly present all documentation to the client & then to the operations team (daily requirement)
n
n
Your skills and experience
n
We are looking for a well presented, high energy,
hands‐on individual with a clean driving record and excellent time management, attention to detail (completion of job ticket information) & customer service skills.
n
Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
n
Must have at least 2yrs experience as a MR Driver and a valid MR Licence – desirable HR truck licence
n
Must be over 25yrs - due to insurances
n
***MUST BE Physically fit (lifting capability>25kgs)***
n
Be computer savvy, we use an iPad for our job tickets - attention to detail a must.
n
Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Gold Coast & Brisbane roads
n
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
n
Solid time management skills and MUST BE reliable
n
Be committed in achieving high standards of compliance and customer service
n
Comfortable in a customer-facing role; excellent communication
n
Knowledge of handling and packaging requirements for Hazardous Packaged Waste and Dangerous Goods - desirable
n
Police Check clearance
