We're looking for an Employment Mentorto join our South Brisbane team. This is an ideal opportunity for university/TAFE students or recent graduates looking to build practical experience in human services while earning an income.

n

If you're studyingSocial Work, Psychology, Human Services, Community Services, Disability, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Criminologyor a related discipline, this role will give you valuable hands-on experience working directly with people, employers and the community.

n

Locations:
n Yeronga and Ellen Grove

n

Full time and Part Time roles available

n

Hours are8:30am – 5:00pm
n What you'll do
n Every day is different, but you'll:

n

n
- Support people living with disability to achieve their employment goals.
n
- Coach participants to build confidence, job readiness and independence.
n
- Work closely with local employers to create meaningful employment opportunities.
n
- Provide ongoing support to participants once they've started work.
n
- Celebrate the real impact you're making in people's lives.
n

n

This role is perfect if you are:

n

- Studying or recently graduated in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Community Services,



Disability, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Criminology or a related field.
n
- Looking for meaningful paid experience that complements your studies.
n
- Passionate about helping people achieve their goals.
n
- A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships.
n
- Organised, motivated and eager to learn.
n
