Coopers Minerals operates a mineral‐processing facility near Bacchus Marsh and is seeking a proactive, experienced Plant Operator to support the Site Operations Manager in delivering safe, efficient, and high‐quality operations, with the view to progress to Leading Hand for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support daily site operations across production, maintenance, and quality control.
n
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
n
- Monitor production performance and work to minimise downtime.
n
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
n




- Maintain strong communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.
n
- Conduct operational maintenance.
n
- Operate front end loaders/forklifts and process equipment.
n

n

Required Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Understanding of crushing, screening, materials handling and operations.
n
- Proven problem‐solving skills and a commitment to a strong safety culture.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Current forklift and loader licence is advantageous.
n
- Full Australian work rights.
n
- Reliable transport to and from site.
