Desirable Qualifications
n
n
- Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field.
n
- Experience or training in dementia care, diabetes management, and/or supporting people with ASD or intellectual disability highly regarded.
n
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Compassionate and patient approach to care.
n
- Candidates would preferably have Australian permanent residency or citizenship to be eligible for this position.
n
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Supporting people with complex needs and trauma backgrounds
n
- Providing respectful personal care and daily living support
n
- Implementing behaviour support strategies with guidance from our therapy team
n
- Helping clients build independence, confidence and connection
n
- Being part of a team that asks "What one problem can we fix this month?"
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
- Two professional references.
n
- Willingness to work with complex behaviours and health needs.
n
- NDIS Worker Check, Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Police Check and Driver's Licence.
n
- A heart for people and a head for safety.
n
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
