Lead, strengthen and grow our Queensland operations
n
Ambition Health Group is seeking an experienced, commercially minded and hands-on Queensland Regional Manager to take ownership of our growing operations across Brisbane and broader Queensland.
n
This is a senior leadership position responsible for operational performance, service delivery, workforce capability, stakeholder relationships, compliance and sustainable business growth across the region.
n
The successful candidate will not simply manage from behind a desk. You will be visible within the community, build strong referral relationships, support our operational and clinical teams, resolve service-delivery challenges and ensure that participants, clients and stakeholders consistently receive responsive, high-quality support.
n
You will work closely with our executive leadership team and have the authority and support required to strengthen our existing Queensland operation and lead its next stage of growth.

About the role
n
As Queensland Regional Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance, development and day-to-day leadership of Ambition Health Group's Queensland operations.
n
You will balance four important areas:

- Operational leadership and service delivery

- Business development and stakeholder engagement

- Workforce and team leadership

- Quality, compliance and commercial performance
n
n
This position will suit an established regional, state, operations or service-delivery leader who understands that successful growth must be supported by reliable systems, strong teams, excellent communication and consistently high standards of care.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Regional operations
n
n
- Take ownership of the daily performance of Queensland operations.
n
- Ensure new and existing services are implemented safely, efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
n
- Maintain oversight of client onboarding, service commencement, rostering, workforce coverage and service continuity.
n
- Work closely with clinical, rostering, intake, human resources, quality and finance teams.
n
- Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions before they affect clients or stakeholders.
n
- Ensure urgent matters, complaints, incidents and service risks are escalated and resolved promptly.
n
- Maintain clear reporting on regional performance, priorities,
risks and opportunities.
n
n
Business development and regional growth
n
n
- Develop and implement a practical Queensland growth strategy.
n
- Build robust relationships with support coordinators, hospitals, discharge planners, aged care providers, allied health professionals, case managers, community organisations and government stakeholders.
n
- Represent Ambition Health Group at networking events, industry forums and stakeholder meetings.
n
- Identify new referral pathways, partnerships, tenders and service opportunities.
n
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and commercial opportunities.
n
- Convert suitable referrals into sustainable, properly resourced services.
n
- Protect and strengthen relationships with existing clients and referral partners.
n
- Work toward agreed regional revenue, referral and growth targets.
n
n
Service quality and client experience
n
n
- Ensure services are person-centred, responsive and aligned with each client's assessed needs and service agreement.
n
- Maintain regular engagement with key clients, families, nominees and external stakeholders.
n
- Monitor service satisfaction and respond early when concerns are identified.
n
- Support the effective management of complex participants and high-risk service arrangements.
n
- Ensure client feedback, complaints and incidents result in timely corrective action and continuous improvement.
n
- Promote a culture where client safety, dignity, choice and wellbeing remain central to operational decisions.
n
n
Workforce leadership
n
n
- Lead, support and hold accountable Queensland operational and service-delivery teams.
n
- Work with recruitment and rostering teams to maintain an appropriate and reliable workforce.
n
- Monitor workforce capacity, skills, performance, conduct and regional coverage.
n
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and retention of suitable healthcare and support personnel.
n
- Coach team members and develop a collaborative, accountable and solutions-focused culture.
n
- Ensure responsibilities, performance expectations and escalation pathways are clearly understood.
n
- Address underperformance, communication failures and operational concerns promptly and professionally.
n
n
Financial and commercial performance
n
n
- Monitor regional revenue, service utilisation, staffing costs and operational expenditure.
n
- Ensure services are delivered within approved funding, service agreements and commercial parameters.
n
- Review unfilled shifts, cancellations, underutilisation, overtime and other factors affecting performance.
n
- Work with finance and operational teams to resolve billing, claiming or documentation issues.
n
- Contribute to regional budgets, forecasts and performance reporting.
n
- Balance sustainable business growth with quality, compliance and client outcomes.
n
n
About you
n
You are a confident and capable leader who can move comfortably between strategic planning, operational problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
n
You will bring
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in a regional, state, operations, service-delivery or senior management position.
n
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS, aged care, community services, healthcare staffing or a related regulated service environment.
n
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary or geographically dispersed teams.
n
- Demonstrated success in business development, stakeholder engagement or service growth.
n
- Strong understanding of client onboarding, rostering, workforce management and service-delivery operations.
n
- The ability to manage complex and sensitive matters with sound judgement.
n
- Commercial awareness and experience monitoring budgets, performance measures or service profitability.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- A practical, hands-on and accountable leadership style.
n
- Confidence working directly with executives, employees, clients, families and external stakeholders.
n

- Existing professional networks across Brisbane or Queensland.
n
- Experience managing NDIS supported accommodation, complex care or community nursing services.
n
- Experience within Support at Home, aged care or healthcare workforce services.
n
- Clinical qualifications or experience working alongside clinical governance teams.
n
- Previous responsibility for regional budgets, growth targets and operational performance.
n
- Experience supporting organisational audits or regulatory compliance activities.
n
- Experience establishing or expanding services into new regions.
n

Mandatory requirements

- Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
n
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
n
- Current Working with Children Check where required.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
- Willingness to travel across Brisbane and regional Queensland when operationally required.
