At Fina, we work with people whose lives are often considered "too complex" for traditional services. Our clients present with significant disability and forensic needs, whose access to the community is restricted.

We believe meaningful change is possible when clinicians are prepared to think differently, build authentic relationships and remain curious. The desire to utilise RNR principles with a cohort who can not engage with traditional therapy is a must.

About the Role

n

You will work with a diverse range of clients across forensic, clinical and disability settings, including:

n

- Comprehensive psychological assessments
n
- Behaviour support and intervention
n
- Adapting evidenced based intervention so they are accessible to all.
n
- Risk assessment and formulation
n
- Consultation with families and support teams
n
- Training and mentoring of support staff
n





You will be responsible for ensuring approaches used are evidenced based and responsive.

looking for someone who:

n
- Is a registered Psychologist (or eligible for registration with AHPRA)
n
- Enjoys looking at complex presentations and looking for "what works"
n
- Can engage with people from diverse backgrounds
n
- Is warm, authentic and able to build strong therapeutic relationships
n
- Thinks creatively while remaining grounded in evidence-based practice
n
- Wants to continue learning and developing professionally
n

Experience in forensic psychology, behaviour support, trauma, intellectual disability or complex mental health is welcomed but not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right mindset and a genuine passion for helping people.
