The Opportunity

n

We are currently seeking caring, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Kellyville, NSW.

n

This role involves providing person-centred support to participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and within the community, helping them build independence, achieve their goals, and live fulfilling lives.

n





Available Shifts

n

We have a range of shifts available, including:

n

n
- Morning shifts
n
- Afternoon shifts
n
- Evening shifts
n
- Active Night shifts
n
- Inactive Sleepover shifts (sleepover allowance applies)
n
- Monday to Sunday availability
n
- Weekend and Public Holiday shifts
n
- Flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours
n

n

Additional shifts may also be available to cover staff leave and increased participant support needs.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Providing personal care and hygiene support
n
- Assisting with daily living activities
n
- Household cleaning and domestic assistance
n
- Meal planning and preparationMedication assistance (where qualified)
n
- Supporting participants with community access and social activities
n
- Transporting participants using your own reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed)
n
- Maintaining accurate case notes and documentation
n
- Building positive relationships with participants, families, and allied health professionals
n
- Promoting participant choice, independence, and inclusion
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
n
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current National Police Check
n
- Current NSW Driver Licence
n
- Own reliable vehicle
n
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
n
- Australian working rights
n
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations (where required by participant or current health directives)
n

Desirable

n

- Working With Children Check
n
- Minimum 12 months' experience in disability support, aged care, or community services
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting people with disability
n
