Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. With our Head Office in Beresfield, NSW, a fully equipped workshop in Muswellbrook, NSW, and an additional office in Queensland, we maintain a strong presence across all major sites in the Hunter region while expanding into the QLD market.

With two current projects underway, we are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our field service team operating between two Major sites in the Bowen Basin on a 7/7 Roster. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company that values their in-house maintenance team, safety, performance, and teamwork.

About the Role

n

n
- Field Service Auto Electrical position based in QLD's Bowen Basin
n
- Perform electrical diagnostics and fault finding of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi machines
n
- Perform planned servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections to maximise equipment reliability
n




- Liaise closely with Maintenance Supervisors across both site operations to ensure diagnostics, fault finding and repairs are completed effectively, with proactive solutions implemented to minimise downtime
n
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals and OEM documentation
n
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Mineco's safety standards and site requirements

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

n

n
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
n
- Ability to DIDO to Bowen Basin sites | Ideally based within a 4 hour drive to site
n
- Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry is desired
n
- Experience in electrical diagnostics and fault finding of heavy earth moving equipment
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
n
