1300SMILES Toowoomba is looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys mentoring others, keeping things organised, and ensuring the clinical team delivers exceptional patient care.

We'll start you on a casual basis for a few days each week while you settle into the role, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position as the role grows.

Job Description

n

As our Clinical Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice. You'll work closely with the Practice Manager and clinical team to ensure everything runs smoothly while continuing to provide chairside support when needed.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Coordinating the day-to-day clinical workflow
n
- Supporting and mentoring the Dental Assistant team
n
- Assisting with onboarding and training new team members
n
- Maintaining clinical standards and infection control protocols
n
- Managing stock levels and clinical supplies
n
- Providing chairside dental assisting and clinical support as required
n




- Assisting with dental assisting duties to support the team during busy periods and leave coverage
n
- Working collaboratively with the Practice Manager and clinicians to deliver an outstanding patient experience
n

Qualifications

n

You'll be an experienced Dental Assistant with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting your team.

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
n
- A Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (desirable), or a willingness to complete one
n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
n
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
n
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
n
