Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead our Machines & Bending team within our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, this role is responsible for day-to-day leadership, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Mon - Fri)

About the Role

n

As Production Supervisor you will:

n

Lead operators within the Machines & Bending area, allocating work and coordinating workflow across the team.

n

Ensure daily production targets are met by addressing issues and maintaining productivity on the floor.

n

Monitor progress and resolve production issues, escalating where required.

n

Conduct daily toolbox meetings and engage the team in building a safe and productive work environment.

n

Support training and development, helping build a multi-skilled and capable team.

n

Champion health, safety and quality standards, ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures.

n





Ensure operators are using systems and processes correctly to support efficient production.

n

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work area to support safe and productive workflows.

n

Work closely with Production Coordinators and internal teams to resolve operational issues and meet production demands.

What You'll Bring

n

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (sheet metal experience desirable).

n

Previous machine experience (e.g. press brake, CNC)

n

Strong leadership skills, with previous experience leading a team.

n

Certificate III in Engineering (desirable).

n

A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality outcomes.

n

Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions.

n

Good organisational skills and ability to manage workflow on the floor.

n

Sound communication skills and ability to work across teams.
