My meat industry partner is a highly regarded, family owned abattoir with a strong reputation for quality products and a positive workplace culture. The business is entering a major expansion phase, with production set to grow progressively over the next 18 months as they commission a brand new, state of the art boning room with chain system.

The Opportunity:

n

This newly created role offers an experienced Beef Boning Room Supervisor the opportunity to join the business at a pivotal stage of its growth. You'll supervise the daily operation of the boning room while helping build the workforce, training program and operating standards required for the expanded facility.

- Leading, mentoring and coaching the boning room team.
n
- Supporting onboarding and employee development.
n
- Developing and implementing a structured, practical beef training program.
n
- Building capability across boners, slicers, knife hands and packers in the boning room.
n
- Coordinating workflow to achieve production, yield, quality and efficiency targets.
n
- Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene and food quality.
n
- Promoting safe knife handling and operating practices.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and team performance.
n




- Supporting the commissioning and operation of the new chain system.
n
- Working closely with management to deliver the company's vision for the facility as it unfolds.

The Candidate:

n

- A minimum of five years senior beef boning experience.
n
- Previous boning room supervisory or leadership experience.
n
- Strong leadership, coaching, training and mentoring skills.
n
- Strong knowledge of beef specifications, yields and quality requirements.
n
- A complex understanding of boning room safety, hygiene and quality assurance standards.
n
- The ability to establish clear expectations and maintain accountability.
n
- The confidence to lead a team through significant growth and change.
n
- A practical, hands on approach and a genuine commitment to developing people.
