About the role
n
As the Risk Advisory Manager - Advice, you will partner with the Advice Business to provide valuable risk and compliance advice, safeguarding UniSuper through effective mt controls assurance and oversight. You'll work closely with Line 1 partners to shape, influence and challenge risk and compliance thinking, supporting the implementation of risk frameworks and fostering a risk‐aware culture.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide oversight, challenge, and subject‐matter expertise on Line 1 risk and assurance activities (risk management, control assurance, incident management, emerging risks).
n
- Develop and mature risk capability with Line 1 partners, translating risk theory into better member outcomes.
n
- Build strong relationships and actively participate in Advice forums, elevating the quality of risk discussions.
n
- ләре oversee major projects and BAU changes to ensure risk is appropriately considered, assessed and reported.

- Deliver independent insight into business risks, elevate risk insights and contribute to executive and board‐level reporting./-

- Support the development and embedding of enterprise‐wide risk frameworks in daily operations.

- Act as a key liaison for training, education and support between business and specialist teams within Risk and Legal.

Experience & Qualifications
n
n
- Extensive skilled experience in enterprise risk and or compliance.
n
- Deep knowledge of financial planning processes.
n
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks in superannuation, funds management, advice or financial services.
n
- Experience partnering with business teams to embed risk and compliance, balancing commercial and strategic objectives.
n

- Ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.

- Relevant accreditation(s) in Risk, Compliance or Financial Planning preferred.
