We are looking for a hands-on leader who can run the floor, drive efficiency, and maintain our high standards of safety and quality.

About the Role

n

We're looking for ahands-on Production Managerto take ownership of our day-to-day factory operations. This role is focused on leading a small but experienced production team, keeping the floor running efficiently, and ensuring orders are manufactured accurately and on time.

n

You will bridge the gap between the Director and the workshop, ensuring projects flow smoothly from raw steel to ready-to-ship products.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Oversee daily factory operations and production workflow
n
- Lead, supervise, and support factory staff across all areas
n
- Plan and prioritise jobs to meet delivery deadlines
n
- Ensure products are manufactured accurately and to quality standards
n
- Maintain a protected, clean, and organised work environment
n
- Monitor productivity and address bottlenecks on the floor
n
- Oversee materials, stock usage, and minimise waste
n
- Troubleshoot issues quickly to keep production moving
n




- Assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring factory is maintaining OH&S; standards
n
- Provide hands-on assistance to team when required - not be afraid to be on the floor
n

About You

n

- Proven experience in aProduction Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader type role
n
- Proven hands - on experience in steel manufacturing and use of everyday fabrication equipment and machinery
n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
n
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability
n
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
n
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
n
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
n
- High attention to detail and the ability to read workshop drawings
n
