The Shaws Bay Hotel is an enduring East Ballina Icon which is has recently reopened after undergoing an exciting modernisation and redevelopment.

With a huge footprint directly on the beautiful waters of Shaws Bay, this is a food driven, high capacity and high turnover venue.

About the Role

n

You will work closely with our exceptional Head Chef to deliver an elevated food offering focusing on fresh local seafood, woodfired pizza, pastas and quality pub classics.

n

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to shift gears calmly within the pressures of a busy service.

n

Have a passion for premium quality food, produce and service

n

Can support and inspire their co-workers to ensure they are a highly skilled, well organised and motivated team

n

Are able to work in a busy & fast paced kitchen

n

Are well-presented & maintain the highest of standards at all times

n

Work in a clean and calm manner

n

To be Truly Successful in this team we ask that you have

n

- Minimum 2 years experience in a pub style kitchen
n
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
n
- Able to work nights & weekends as part of a versatile roster
