With an established track record across complex property and development projects, the business is looking to strengthen its senior team with a Project Director who can lead major projects, build trusted client relationships and play an active role in winning new work.

The Opportunity

This is a senior position with two explicit areas of focus: project delivery and business development.

You’ll take ownership of complex, high-value projects while working closely with clients, investors, developers, consultants and contractors. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage your existing network and market knowledge to identify opportunities, develop relationships and help grow the project management offering.

You won’t be joining a large corporate structure where business development sits with a separate sales team. Your relationships, market knowledge and reputation will genuinely contribute to the growth of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead and deliver complex client-side development and capital projects
- Act as a senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
- Provide strategic project and development advice throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead project teams, consultants and contractors to achieve successful outcomes
- Manage project risk, programme, procurement, cost and delivery strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify new business opportunities across the Sydney property and development market




- Leverage your existing network to generate introductions, conversations and opportunities
- Develop proposals, pitch for new work and support the conversion of opportunities
- Contribute to the continued growth and market positioning of the project management business
- Work closely with the Directors on business strategy, client development and future growth

What They’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced Project Director / Senior Project Manager with a strong track record delivering complex property projects and the confidence to operate at a senior stakeholder level.

You’ll ideally bring

- Significant experience in client-side project management
- A strong track record across major property/development projects
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- The commercial confidence to identify and pursue new opportunities
- An established network across Sydney's property and development market
- A proven ability to develop and maintain senior client relationships
- Experience contributing to business development, proposals and winning new work
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A genuine interest in helping shape and grow a boutique consultancy
