About the role

n

Penrith RSL Club Limited is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cellar & Maintenance Hand to join our hospitality team. This essential role involves maintaining the quality and organisation of our beverage operations whilst supporting the overall maintenance needs of the club.

Key responsibilities

n

Managing and organising all stock, including ordering, receiving, storing and stocking service areas throughout the club

n

Maintaining cellar equipment including the keg and post mix systems, and drink dispensers to ensure products are to standard

n

Conducting regular Club inspections to identify maintenance issues and communicate with the Operations managers on repairs required. Follow up on service calls ensuring all services are completed to standard

n

Assisting with general maintenance tasks throughout the club including cleaning

n

Supporting bar staff by ensuring adequate stock availability during service periods

n

Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and stock audits

n

Adhering to all WHS regulations within the cellar and maintenance areas

n

Reporting faults or damage to equipment or facilities to supervisory staff promptly

n

What we're looking for

n

Previous experience working in a cellar, bar environment or hospitality setting is highly desirable

n

Knowledge of beverage handling,



storage and stock rotation practices

n

Practical maintenance skills and the ability to undertake basic repairs and troubleshooting

n

Solid organisational abilities and attention to detail

n

Physical fitness and capability to lift and move heavy items regularly

n

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with bar and hospitality staff

n

A reliable and punctual approach to attendance and scheduling, most shifts are early starts

n

Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly working environment

n

Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it

n
