Remuneration: $81,748.16 - $114,771.98 per annum

Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

n

As a Registered Nurse within the Respiratory Close Observation Unit, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that supports positive patient outcomes. Working collaboratively with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while promoting evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

n

- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using assessment, care planning and evaluation principles
n
- Monitor, document and communicate patient progress to support safe, effective care delivery
n
- Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes
n
- Support the learning and development of Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and nursing colleagues
n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and a positive, patient-focused team environment
n

Mandatory eligibility and selection criteria

n

Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

n

Selection Criteria

n

n
- Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD
n
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
n
- Excellent time management and organization skills with attention to detail
n
- Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
n
