Berkeley Vale Public School P&C; Association OOSH is a community-based, not-for-profit Before and After School Care service located on the beautiful grounds of Berkeley Vale Public School.

n

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director (2IC) & Educational Leader to join our leadership team in a Permanent Part-Time position.

n

Working alongside the Director/Nominated Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day operation of the service, mentor and lead a team of educators, drive educational programming in line with My Time, Our Place v2.0, and promote a positive, child-safe culture.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support the Director with the daily operation of the service.
n
- Act as Responsible Person when required.
n
- Lead, mentor and support a team of educators.
n
- Lead educational programming and reflective practice.
n
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework.
n
- Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the school community.
n

n





Essential Requirements

n

n
- Approved qualification (or working towards).
n
- Current NSW Working With Children Check.
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
n
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
n
- Strong knowledge of My Time, Our Place v2.0 and the National Quality Framework.
n
- Gecko Child Safe Foundations Training (or willingness to complete before commencement).
n
