What you'll contribute to
n
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Tradesperson, you will play a key role in keeping Wivenhoe Power Station running safely and reliably. Your work ensures equipment performs safely and reliably, supporting energy supply across Queensland.
n
In this role you will:
n
n
- Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, instrumentation and control systems
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve plant faults to minimise downtime and maintain production
n
- Support outage planning, shutdowns and commissioning activities
n
- Work with engineers, operators and contractors to deliver protected, high-quality maintenance outcomes
n
- Identify improvement opportunities that increase plant reliability, efficiency and asset life
n
n
This role works a full-time 4 day 36.25 hour Mon to Thurs roster and is based at CleanCo's Wivenhoe Power Station, with an opportunity to participate in an on-call roster once trained.
n
On your first day we expect you to have:
n
n
- Electrical trade qualification with a Queensland Electrical Workers Licence
n
- Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control
n
- Experience in maintenance within power generation or heavy industry
n
- Ability to diagnose faults and solve technical problems methodically
n
- Experience using maintenance systems and interpreting technical drawings
n
- Ability to collaborate with teams, contractors and stakeholders
n
n
