We are seeking a Male Only Disability Support Worker to join our casual team supporting an MND, non-verbal NDIS client.

We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated and professional Male Only Disability Support Worker to join our casual team supporting an MND, non-verbal NDIS participant in the Brisbane Southside area.

Provide individual person-centred support, including assistance with personal care, daily living activities, and community access.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist with:

n
- Household tasks: domestic assistance, cleaning and laundry, and meal prep
n
- Transport - transport to appointments, shopping and community access
n

Applicants will require:

n
- Right to work in Australia
n
- Relevant industry experience working with clients who have MND
n
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent
n
- Current NDI worker Screening Card and Blue card
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
n
- Medication Certificates or experience would be favourable
n
- Valid Driver's License
n
- Covid and Flu vaccinations are required
n
- Good availability is essential
n

Candidates with High Care experience will be viewed favourably.
