Irrigation Estimator – Local Perth Company

Employment Type: Full-Time
n Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 per year

About the Role

n

We are seeking an Irrigation Estimator to join our team, supporting a range of irrigation projects from consultation through to installation. This is a hands‐on role where you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.

Hours: Monday – Friday

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Review and interpret irrigation plans, project documentation, and bills of quantities to prepare accurate cost estimates.
n
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, including issuing requests for quotes and evaluating submissions.
n
- Prepare detailed pricing, take-offs, and tender packages for projects.
n
- Ensure all estimates meet project requirements including budgets, safety, quality, and technical specifications.
n
- Support the handover of projects to the construction team once tenders are approved.
n




- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, resource allocation, and construction methodology documentation.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience in irrigation, construction estimating, or related administration roles.
n
- Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.
n
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid‐paced environment.
n
- Strong problem‐solving and organisational skills.
n
- Exposure to CAD or other technical drawing software is an advantage.
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
