Job Description

Studco Building Systems is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Croydon, Victoria. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and oversight of structural components for our range of innovative building systems. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects alongside a talented team of engineering professionals.

What you'll be doing

n

Designing and analysing structural elements and systems for Studco's range of building products

n

Preparing structural calculations, drawings and reports to support the development and implementation of new products

n

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing and sales, to ensure the structural integrity and constructability of Studco's solutions

n

Providing technical support and advice to customers, partners and internal stakeholders

n

Staying up-to-date with relevant building codes, standards and industry best practices

n

Contributing to the continuous improvement of Studco's engineering processes and practices

n

What we're looking for

n

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field

n

Experience

n





as a Structural Engineer, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries

n

Demonstrated expertise in the design and analysis of steel, concrete and timber structures

n

Proficient in the use of structural analysis software, such as ETABS, RISA or SAP2000

n

Robust problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

n

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

n

Thorough understanding of relevant building codes and standards, including the National Construction Code (NCC)

n

Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Victoria
