About the Role

n

We are looking for a Settlement Officer to join our Australia Operations team. You will support daily merchant settlements, reconciliation, and payment operations, ensuring transactions are accurate, timely, and properly controlled.

n

This role is ideal for candidates with 1+ year of experience in fintech, payments, banking operations, or settlement. We also welcome strong candidates from AP/AR, SSC, KYC/Compliance, or bank back-office backgrounds.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Process and monitor daily merchant settlements and payouts
n
- Reconcile transaction data across internal systems and banking partners
n
- Investigate discrepancies, failed transactions, and settlement issues
n




- Monitor settlement cycles and identify irregularities
n
- Work with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve issues
n
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting and audits
n
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 1+ year of relevant experience in fintech, payments, banking, settlement, reconciliation, or operations
n
- Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
n
- Valuable understanding of transactional processes and system logic
n
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
n
- Experience with KYC or payment processes is highly preferred
n
- Strong ownership, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
