The Opportunity

n

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team for local work deliveries.

n

You'll be transporting a mix of steel, timber, aluminium and containers. This role will be based in Coopers Plains & the runs are Brisbane Metro delivering and picking up from rail yards and customer sites.

n

Full training will be provided including load restraint and buddy training with an experienced driver. Afternoon and day role(s) available.

You will

n
- The load for this role will be varied, transporting either steel, aluminium, timber or containers
n
- Rail and Wharf work
n
- Adhering to safety and compliance policies and procedures
n
- A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to.
n

What you'll bring

n

n
- Strong HC driving experience and desire to upgrade your skills to MC (support provided!) or strong MC experience.
n
- A good knowledge of Brisbane metro locations and an understanding of load restraint or willingness to learn.
n

You will have

n

n
- MC license preferred- have strong HC experience? K&S; will train the right candidate to drive MC!
n
- Forklift licence advantageous. Don't have one? K&S; will cover your ticket after you pass probation
n
- You have an MSIC license or are willing to obtain
n
- You're reliable, responsible and will approach to your working day with a positive attitude
n
- Your commitment to safety is exceptional
n
- Self-motivated and able to work in a small team
n
- You can follow instructions, and communicate effectively
