Trade Assistant Opportunity –Day Shift
n Pay Rate:$36ph
n Location:Tennyson, QLD
n Start time:6am - 2pm

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistantto join a busy maintenance team based in Tennyson. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, and is willing to support tradespeople when required.

Key Responsibilities

n
- General cleaning and housekeeping of maintenance workshop areas
n
- Assembly of metal shelving using basic hand tools
n
- Moving and relocating spare parts throughout the site
n
- Sorting, organising, and cataloguing inventory
n
- Labelling spare parts and equipment
n
- Basic data entry using Excel and maintenance systems
n
- Basic painting using brushes and rollers
n
- Assisting fitters and tradespeople as required
n
- Relocating unwanted materials, pallets,



and waste to designated skip bins
n
- General labouring and workshop support duties
n

About You

n
- Previous experience in a Trade Assistant, Labourer, Warehouse, or Maintenance support role
n
- Comfortable working with hand tools
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Basic computer skills, including data entry
n
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
n
- Ability to work safely in an industrial workplace
n
