Job Description

The Royal Melbourne Hospital's Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory is seeking a Medical Scientist – Grade 1 to support diagnostic testing and public health surveillance of enteric viruses.

You will perform virus culture, RT-PCR/RT-qPCR and DNA sequencing, maintain databases and inventories, and contribute to quality systems and regulatory compliance within a team-oriented laboratory setting.
