Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor - Earthworks to join our team at Hollywood Earthmoving Pty Ltd in Gracemere, QLD. This role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our earthworks operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Due to increased works, we are seeking a competent supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing approximately 20 operators.

What you'll be doing

n

Supervise and coordinate a team of operators to complete earthworks tasks safety, efficiently and to the highest standard

n

Implement work plans, schedules, and procedures to optimise productivity and efficiency

n

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations

n

Ensure SWMS are followed

n

Communicate effectively with our clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues

n

Maintain accurate records of project activities, equipment usage, and material consumption

n

What we're looking for

n

Relevant civil construction experience in a supervisor or leading hand role

n

Coordination of employees, subcontractors plant & equipment

n

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

n

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

n

Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental and relevant regulations

n

Willingness to travel throughout the CQ region& work occasional night shifts

n

Current driver's License and HR license

n





Tickets and experience operating heavy machinery (e.g. excavators, loaders, skid steers graders ect)

n

White Card

n

Current Cat 3 Medical or willing to obtain for pre employment check

n

Able to pass a drug and alcohol test

n

Rail Qualifications - Desirable
