SALARY: $76 000 to $85 000

Wurtulla Plumbing & Drainage is a well-established plumbing business servicing residential
n and commercial clients across the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our growing team.

n

Tasks

n

n
- Design, Installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sewerage and stormwater systems
n
- Interpreting plumbing plans, specifications and building codes
n
- Installing and repairing hot & cold-water systems, pipes, fixtures, valves, fittings and appliances
n
- Install sewerage, disposal, pressure regulating and pump systems
n
- Install drainage systems below ground and gas appliances
n
- Testing plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality and compliance
n
- Locating faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and rectifying issues
n
- Performing routine maintenance and emergency plumbing repairs
n
- Ensuring work is completed to Australian Standards and local council regulations
n

Responsibilities

- Carry out plumbing work efficiently and to a high professional standard
n
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Liaise with clients, builders and other trades on-site
n
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
n
- Ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained in positive working order
n
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
n

Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Relevant qualification in Plumbing (Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent) or relevant experience
n
- Current Queensland Plumbing Licence or ability to obtain one
n
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Plumber
n
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials and installation methods
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
n
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
n
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
n
