DevOps Engineer | Low Latency Trading Systems | Sydney | Permanent

This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of development, UAT, and production environments, supporting teams building ultra-low latency trading systems and FPGA solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Manage and optimise Linux-based development environments for multiple engineering teams.
n
- Build, maintain, and improve deployment pipelines for internal tools and trading infrastructure.
n
- Own and oversee CI/CD ecosystems (preferably GitLab), from configuration to monitoring and continuous improvement.
n
- Maintain secure and reliable artifact storage, ensuring fast, consistent access to build outputs and dependencies.
n
- Coordinate production releases, including validation and post-deployment checks.
n
- Monitor the health and performance of CI/CD infrastructure and developer toolchains.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
- Strong programming skills in both a scripting language (Python or Bash preferred) and a systems language (C/C++ preferred).
n
- Proficiency in SQL.
n
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
n
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
n
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, Splunk).
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical teams.
n
n
