Our client is a very established surveying business with offices across Victoria and a superb reputation in the market.

n

We are currently seeking experienced Utility Locators who are DBYD Certifiedto join the team. You will support jobs setting out and picking up utility services for projects across Melbourne and the surrounding areas.

About the Utility Locator Role

n

n
- Interpret utility plans, DBYD documentation, and aerial imagery to accurately locate underground infrastructure such as water, gas, and electrical lines.
n




- Produce detailed reports summarising utility findings and project outcomes upon completion of each assignment.
n
- Guide clients toward appropriate services or solutions to meet their project needs effectively.
n
- Support colleagues by providing training on the use of asset-locating tools and techniques for identifying underground utilities.
n
- Manage the routine maintenance and repair of locating devices to maintain their functionality and precision.
n

Utility Locator Skills & Experience

n

n
- Proficient in conducting set-out and picking up underground utility services.
n
- DBYD certified.
n
- Skilled in operating GPR systems for accurate surveying and utility mapping.
n
- 5+ years of experience and can work on jobs autonomously.
n
