Job Description
AWE is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team, supporting a leading Australian manufacturing facility. If you have experience maintaining automated production equipment and enjoy fault-finding in a fast-paced industrial environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment
n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtime
n
- Carry out component replacements, alignments and mechanical rebuilds
n
- Inspect, service and maintain conveyors, palletising and wrapping systems
n
- Complete shutdown and scheduled maintenance activities
n
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance documentation
n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
n
Experience Required: To be successful in this role, you should have experience working on:
n
n
- Foodmach conveyor systems and safety cells
n
- Dan palletisers
n
- SIAT wrapping systems
n
- ABB robotic systems
n
- Devree equipment
n
- Chain-driven pallet conveyor systems
n
n
To Be Considered You Will Need:
n
n
- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
n
- Be able to work Days, Afternoons and nights
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Experience in manufacturing, processing or automated production environments
n
- Solid mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Ability to work safely within a production environment
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
