About the Role

n

We have opportunities available forDiesel Mechanics to join our team working at our Weipa project in North Queensland. Working on a roster cycle of 16 days on 12 days off, you will be servicing our fleet of mainly CAT equipment.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Performing preventative and unplanned maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime
n




- Conducting inspections and ensuring machines meet safety and operational standards
n
- Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure equipment reliability and performance
n

n

Our fleet is truly diverse; you will schedule and provide preventative and routine maintenance and attend breakdowns as required on a variety of heavy plant and equipment.

About You

n

You are a self-motivated individual, and possess the following qualifications/skills:

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Field Service environment.
n
- Appropriate heavy diesel mechanical trade qualification (AUR or MEM).
n
- RIISAM212 Service Mine Plant and Equipment and RIISAM301 Test Operational functions of vehicles and equipment (or ability to obtain).
n
- Current Driver's License.
n
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
n
- Ability to pass a full medical, including drug and alcohol test.
n
- MMQ Medical (preferred)
n
- Full work rights in Australia.
n
