An Award Winning, Commercial Head Contractor, working primarily across Institutional & Government projects up to $50m across Melbourne & Regional Victoria.

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing commercial construction team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional ready to take on a leadership role.

The Role

n

As our Senior Estimator, you'll be a key player in our pre-construction phase. You'll be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial projects. Your ability to analyse blueprints, evaluate specifications, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors will be critical. You will be joining a team 5, with a range of experienced Estimators.

Key responsibilities

n

- Preparing comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
n
- Conducting detailed takeoff, and analysing proposals and bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
n




- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with clients, architects, and vendors.
n
- Identifying and evaluating project risks and opportunities.
n
- Mentoring and guiding junior estimators.
n

Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 package

n

Location: Geelong

Requirements

n

The ideal candidate will have:

n

n
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
n
- Demonstrative experience of at least 7-10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator.
n
- Proven expertise with estimating software - Cubit/ Cost X
n
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
n
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
n
- A willing attitude to lead and develop further in the business
