As we continue growing our MWBS division, we are looking for intelligent, detail-oriented, and motivated Medical Billing Associate Interns to join our team and build long-term careers within the Australian healthcare industry.

About the Internship

This is a paid internship designed for individuals with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and confidence working with numbers and financial data.
n
You will receive structured training and hands-on exposure to Australian healthcare billing workflows, medical billing systems, reconciliations, and operational processes.
n
This internship provides an excellent pathway into a long-term career in healthcare operations and medical billing.

Key Responsibilities
n
Assist with Australian medical billing workflows and processes
n
Support billing data entry, reconciliation, and validation activities
n
Review billing information for accuracy and completeness
n
Assist with identifying discrepancies and resolving billing-related issues
n
Work with internal teams to support operational and billing tasks
n
Maintain accurate documentation and records
n
Communicate professionally with team members and stakeholders
n
Learn and follow Australian healthcare billing procedures and compliance standards
n
Requirements
n
What We're Looking For

Currently following or recently completed a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
n
Strong numerical and analytical thinking ability
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
Good logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
n
Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written
n
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
n
Strong work ethic, accountability, and reliability
n
Basic computer literacy and confidence using systems and spreadsheets
n
Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to finance, accounting, or operational environments
n
Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills

Interest in healthcare operations or business services

Previous internship or part-time work experience
