Job Description
Full-Time, Permanent – Grade 1 Physiotherapist
n
80 hours per fortnight, including an ADO
n
$70,590 - $85,872 base + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave.

An exciting opportunity exists for a new graduate or early-career physiotherapist to join the Peter Mac Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, and Podiatry Department.
n
This role offers the chance to work in a world-class oncology setting, rotating through medical oncology, surgical oncology, and haematology wards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and professional growth. The opportunity also exists to complete a rotation(s) at Royal Melbourne Hospital.

- Excellent clinical supervision

- Exposure to expert senior clinicians across several specialist services

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver high-quality acute physiotherapy services to Peter Mac patients.
n
- Provide patient-centred care within the specialist area of oncology.
n
- Assist in discharge planning, goal setting, and developing ongoing care plans.
n
- Implement and evaluate treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
n
- Support departmental professional development, research, and quality initiatives to ensure evidence-based best practices.
n
- Contribute to the outpatient lymphoedema screening service.
n
n
The Successful Candidate Will Possess
n
n
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
n
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
n
- Passion for evidence-based, patient-focused physiotherapy care.
n
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
n
