We're currently seeking a qualified Consulting Arborist to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is more than just a job — it's a chance to build a long-term career backed by training, mentorship, and access to national projects that make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Completing on-ground tree assessments and hazard evaluations
n
- Preparing clear, high-quality written reports using digital tools
n
- Working across council, infrastructure, and private sector projects
n
- Using GIS, field-based data capture and diagnostic equipment
n
- Contributing to applied research and tree health programs with our partners at Arbor Scientific
n
- Developing your skills through ongoing training and mentoring
n
n

What We're Looking For
n
Essential
n
n
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
n
- Solid species ID and tree assessment skills
n
- Clear communication and report-writing ability
n
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
n
- Driver's licence
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Certificate V in Arboriculture
n
- Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control
n
- QTRA or TRAQ certification
n
- GIS mapping experience (e.g. Esri)
n
- Interest in tree health science and field trials
n
n
