Fun in the Sun is a not-for-profit charity supporting children, young people and families in times of need. How we do this? Through holding festivals, toy drives, galas, clothes donations and other exciting initiatives!
n We are currently looking for an IT specialist to help us manage our IT needs!
n **Key Responsibilities:**
n 1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and volunteers for hardware, software, and network issues.
n 2. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
n 3. Ensure the security and integrity of our digital assets by implementing and maintaining data protection measures, including backups and antivirus software.
n 4. Collaborate with the web development team to update and maintain our organization's website.
n 5. Evaluate and recommend improvements to our IT systems and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and productivity.
n 6. Assist in the training of staff and volunteers on IT-related matters to ensure proper usage and adherence to best practices.
n **Qualifications:**
n 1. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
n 2.



Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions.
n 3. Experience with content management systems (Wix) is preferred but not required.
n 4. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations a plus.
n 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
